Welcome to the New Home of Our Lord of the Flowers

Welcome to the New Home of Our Lord of the Flowers

Thank you for entering the new home of Our Lord of the Flowers. During early October, I migrated out of my former Patreon web site this new home on the Internet, ourlordoftheflowers.com. I want to welcome you to my new web site and to show you what we have in store for you in the next few weeks.

Why I Left Patreon

Patreon is a great starter tool for artists, but in order to operate as a true indie author and put into action my anti-colonialist values, I felt it was very important to own my narrative natively in my own web site and cut out the middle man. On this new web site I can give you better experiences, higher quality interaction and content, and a top-tier shopping experience when you purchase the paperback of my book or you buy photo prints and my product designs that tie into the novel Our Lord of the Flowers.

How to Navigate the New OLF Web Site

This new web site has some very straightforward new sections:

  • The Novel: In this section you can access the web serial, as well as the book’s FAQ and reference material, such as pronunciation guides and background info about Aztec mythology, which is a giant component of all my work.
  • The Photos: If you loved my sensual and gender expansive photos from my former Patreon site, visit this section to see those images in a better format. Now each image contains a written narrative from me that explains each photo, as well as how it was made, and how it connects to the book.
  • The OLF Blog: In this space you’ll not only get updates from me, you’ll also get some of my reflections and reporting on culture, ranging from decolonizing art, reviews of books, films and music, as well as behind-the-scenes posts that will help you connect all the dots in this giant firmament of my fictional universes. After all, every single one of my published novels connects to each other in some way.
  • The Shop: Here you can buy digital photo downloads, photo prints of my best photo art, t-shirts, accessories and of course, the book, in both e-book and paperback format. Right now we are just starting to populate the store, but we are adding new offerings daily.

Timeline for Migrating the Web Novel

The web novel will migrate into this web site in installments. Right now we are looking to reformat some of the chapters into PDFs for a better reading experience. Newsletter subscribers also will get access to the web novel.

Note: Keep in mind that like in my previous novels, the live serial may differ from the final book. That’s part of the magic of seeing an artist develop a piece of work in multiple stages.

Paperback Arrives in 2026

“When can I just buy the printed book?” This is the question I get asked most often. The book is slated to go on sale here on this web site, as well as Kobo, Apple Books, Kindle and other stores in 2026.

A New Way of Bringing You The Photos

For many fans of my work, they know me only through the photos I have been creating since 2013 (when I published How to Kill a Superhero). You can now enjoy my photo art in two ways:

  • Visit my brand new photo galleries. I publish and add new photos by season, to coincide with the cycles of nature, just like flowers do.
  • Sign up for my newsletter. Newsletter subscribers get exclusive photos that don’t show up in the galleries. The newsletter is free, and these bonus photos are a way of bringing you value

Note: The photos in my site and in my newsletter are intended for mature audiences only.

How You Can Support This Project

I’m an indie artist, and I really need your help to survive, scale, and sustain my job as an artist. The best way you can support Our Lord of the Flowers is by telling your friends about the book. Word of mouth is one of the best ways. But if you feel inclined to give financial support, you can visit our brand new OLF store, where I offer t-shirts, photo prints, my books, and other products I design personally. If you prefer to make a financial donation as a patron of the arts, please send me a message. I can gladly set up a Kickstarter or GoFundMe that ties into the publication of my book, but I will only do this for folks who prefer to simply donate instead of shop through my store.

Send Me Feedback

As I migrate my former Patreon content into this new online home, your feedback is essential for me. Let me know what you think of the book, the photos, and what you would like to see me make more of. You can send me an email via my contact page.
